When carrying out work overseas, what options are there when an organization wants to implement its work through non-US citizens (and those who lack a US work visa)? This workshop will provide an overview of some options an organization may choose, including use of an EOR (employer of record) company, working via MOU with a local partner organization, and registering to do business in the foreign country (whether as a foreign corporation or by forming a new entity).
Participants will:
(1) Understand the different staffing options when implementing work abroad through international staff
(2) Assess the pros/cons of the different approaches as they play out in different local contexts
This is ideal for those responsible for implementing overseas work carried out by non-US staff.
