    Many of us started our missionary journey by reading a compelling biography. Still others made it through a difficult season of life reading a biography. Empathy is a prerequisite for wisdom. Reading biographies lets you walk in somebody else’s shoes. It deepens your faith as you see the faithful struggle and overcome. “Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.”
