The local church plays a collaborative role in seeking opportunities to serve. Not only do we equip members to serve well but we also assume the liability of proper care and representation of the needs on the field. Those needs are within our neighborhoods as well as among unreached people groups multiple time zones away. When the local church moves beyond the confines of older missions and outreach models, we can engage a wealth of expertise and leadership development for kingdom outcomes. This workshop explores ways to connect the abilities and gifts of the full body of the church — including trade skills, professional experience, and spiritual gifting — to the complexity and the breadth of global missions.
Primary Audience: Church leaders and ministry consultants
