Volunteer

Giving back to the Great Commission community is personally rewarding, serves the broader community and fun. It’s a great way to meet other people and use your gifts and abilities. Here are some ways that you can serve others but feel free to deam big and send your ideas to us.

Join the Awards Committee
Awards help to highlight issues and people within the community. We seek volunteers to assist us in the selection and coordination of our annual awards.
Facilitate a Group
You can facilitate a Group on Missio Nexus private social network If you have a topic you want to suggest for collaboration, consider being a facilitator. Each Group has a leader who “gardens” the posts and keeps the conversation alive and active.
Help at the Mission Leader’s Conference
We seek volunteers to help with the many operations the annual Mission Leaders Conference.
Host and/or Facilitate a 24 Event
24 events are conducted over a 24-hour period and are smaller gatherings focused on a topic. Do you have a topic that will benefit the Great Commission community?
Participate or Initiate a Research Project
Our community benefits from great research. Do you have a desire to research and then share the data with the broader community? If so, please let us know.
Present a Webinar
Missio Nexus conducts Webinars and other learning events throughout the year. Do you have a topic of interest to the Great Commission community that you want to share?
Propose a Workshop for the Mission Leaders Conference
Suggest a session to be presented at a future Mission Leaders Conference. Please note: most of the schedule is filled by the end of January for the fall conference. Provide as many details as you can including possible track, proposed title, suggested session leader, as well if your organization is a member, sponsor, or exhibitor.
Assist in a Membership Drive
We are continuing to grow our footprint! In the next year we will be conducting a membership drive to reach out to new churches and organizations. We need people who will give a little of their time to this effort.
Other
What other ideas do you have for how you might contribute? We are wide open to hearing from you about these ideas.

Let us know about how you can volunteer!
