Immigrant Ministry Coordinator Europe

Develop and coordinates the Immigrants Ministry of and within TWR Europe, so that an effective media ministry to the people of that ministry area is established, maintained, and further developed. We work in partnership with others to reach local immigrants effectively. The scope of the ministry area is Europe with a focus on countries with large immigrants populations. The main focus of this work will be the development of ministries to immigrants audiences in Northern Cyprus and to refugees/immigrants in Europe. The scope includes an active role in fund development for this ministry.

Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so you would develop a team of partners who provide financially for your full salary and benefits as a part of this role. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

Key Result Areas:

Strategic Ministry Planning:

Vision casting and developing a three-year strategy (updated annually) in alignment with TWR Global and Regional goals.

Ministry and Content Development

Conduct research to ensure media content meets audience needs
Collaborate with National, Ministry partners to share knowledge and resources

Develop partnerships with existing and new ministry partners to serve our intended audiences, which help us to enhance our ministry
Select existing content addressing immigrants’ life issues and draw them to Jesus
Produce new content with partners if needed
Evaluate and utilize best media platforms for audience reach
Monitor listener engagement and feedback for reporting and development

Leadership

Leading a team to run the refugee/immigrant ministry in Europe
Be an active member of the European Ministry Team (EMT)
Member of the Europe and CAMENA Ministry Leader (ECML) team

Fund Development

Develop a fund development strategy annually for future growth and financial sustainability
Engage in fundraising efforts locally and globally by visiting donors, foundations, and sponsors
Participate in vision trips for current or potential donors

Reporting

Reporting on sponsored projects is provided on a regular basis
to the sponsors to demonstrate effectiveness of the projects
to other departments for further usage (Marcom, etc.)
to all staff to share ministry impact
Help provide ministry information that can be used for funding partners and individual donors

Required Qualifications:

Training and/or extended experience in missions and in at least one area such as theology, business administration, cross-cultural communication, media, journalism, linguistics, leadership, management
Experience in working with immigrants and knowledge of their culture and religion
Excellent knowledge of written and oral English language
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Desirable Qualifications:
Language skills in one of the following: French, Bosnian, Albanian, Arabic, Turkish
Experience or at least interest in the area of fund development
Knowledge of financial and project management
Knowledge and experience in radio/media production

Physical Demands:
Willingness to travel (mainly within the European region)
Ability to cope with stress and to build up a healthy resilience and work-life balance.
