Overview

The Director of Support Services is the foundational leader responsible for the “back-office” health of the GFM Thailand Hub, ensuring that ministry teams have the logistical and financial stability they need to succeed. This role provides strategic oversight for all human resources, financial management, and administrative operations, acting as a steward of the mission’s resources and people. You will manage the Personnel Coordinator to streamline hiring and onboarding while personally ensuring financial accountability and legal compliance within the Thai context. Ultimately, this position exists to create a seamless operational environment that allows the field teams to focus entirely on multiplication and mercy without administrative distraction. The role is based out of Bangkok, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources Management: Provide strategic leadership for the entire staff lifecycle, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations are handled with excellence and reflect the mission’s values.
  • Financial Stewardship & Oversight: Manage the Hub’s budget and financial health, overseeing local bookkeeping, international fund transfers, and rigorous financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Operational & Office Administration: Direct the day-to-day administrative systems, including facility management, equipment procurement, and the logistical infrastructure required to support a growing missionary team.
  • Legal Compliance & Risk Management: Navigate the complexities of Thai regulations and GFM policies, ensuring all legal requirements, visa processes, and internal standards are strictly maintained.
  • Organizational Support & Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to provide the administrative data and back-office stability necessary to scale ministry efforts and sustain long-term missionary health.

Required Qualifications

Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith
Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17; Col 3:16-17)
Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others (Eph 4:15)
Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking (Heb 10:24-25)
Must function well both independently and in a team environment (1 Cor 12:25-26)
Must be able use or learn internal communications and technology systems (Email, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, etc.)
Must be ready to experience significant missions training and discipleship through GFM’s Missionary Training School (in person sessions or online)

Recommended Experience
A College Degree is preferred but not required; informal training/experience in administration, communications, team building, human resource management, organization, leadership, and/or ministry will be considered
