A Strategy-to-Execution Alignment Lab for Mission Organizations
Invitation
Missio Nexus, in partnership with Catapult, invites you to a highly practical, 1.5-day working intensive designed to bring CEO’s/Executive Directors, boards and executive teams into the same operating model—clarifying how execution actually happens and what healthy accountability looks like without micromanagement.
Why This Event Exists
Many mission organizations have strong vision, sound strategy, and committed leaders—yet still struggle to translate direction into consistent results. This event is built around one core question – How do boards and executive teams work together to ensure strategy turns into execution—faithfully, clearly, and sustainably?
This is not a conference and not a lecture series. It is a facilitated alignment lab where leaders learn, engage, and leave with concrete next steps.
Why You Want to Participate
This 1.5-day working intensive focuses on execution and accountability. Close the gap between strategy and results—together as we develop a clear, shared tactical plan that will identify the 2-4 ways in the next 12-months you can shrink the gap between vision and execution. When your board and senior leaders are in the same room, learning the same things, at the same time, decisions get made faster and they stick. That is why we designed this for teams, not individuals. When strategy is clear—but results still lag—the challenge is almost always execution.
Participant Profile
- CEOs / Executive Directors
- C-Suite leaders (COO, CFO, CXO roles)
- Second-chair leaders / Integrators
- Board members (not limited to board chairs)
This experience is designed for teams, not just individuals. When more people share understanding—not just responsibility—organizations experience greater innovation in problem-solving, faster and wiser decision-making, and stronger alignment between governance and execution.
Ideal pairings include:
- A Board Chair or Board Member attending alongside the CEO/ED
- A CEO attending with senior leaders who help execute vision and mission
- Executive teams attending together to build shared language and trust
Boards gain insight into how executive teams execute—not so they can manage operations, but so they can govern and support with wisdom.
Senior leaders gain clarity around what boards need in order to provide healthy accountability and encouragement.
When boards and leaders do this work together, execution improves—and the organization moves forward with greater unity and confidence.
What You Will Leave With
Every team will build a Tactical Action Plan (TAP) during the event:
