Presenter:
Shawn Stewart serves as Coordinator of Field Readiness, Development & Support with EPC World Outreach. He has been involved in church ministry and missions since sensing God’s call to full-time ministry as a young adult. Shawn was mobilized into missions 14 years ago by Greg Livingstone and went on to help build EPC World Outreach’s Mobilization Team from the ground up—coaching mobilizers, engaging churches and presbyteries, and helping mobilize more than 100 individuals and families into long-term service among unreached peoples.
He previously served as a missionary in Bolivia with SIM, where he developed a nationwide youth-worker training ministry that continues today. Shawn has spent over four decades in student ministry, training leaders and leading mission teams internationally. He holds a Master of Science in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, his Bachelor of Art in Christian Education from Wheaton College, and an Associate of Art in Outdoor Recreation from Montreat College. Today, Shawn coaches newly appointed global workers, supports field teams, and continues to invest in mobilizers and churches seeking to participate fully in God’s global mission.
