Summary

This is a book about the author’s experience as a WordPress employee with a focus on the company’s culture and decentralized workforce. The author, a former Microsoft employee, describes what it is like to work for a company which has almost no physical workspaces. He was hired to change the corporate culture by introducing teams into the otherwise solo efforts of scores of employees. He describes the ways that WordPress untraditionally drives cooperation and productivity through technology tools and face to face meetings. The title is derived from the fact that the vast majority of the company’s employees work from home offices and don’t have to get dressed to get to work.
