Raising money and accounting for those funds are both integral activities in an organization. Sometimes it seems finance and development teams have competing goals.
These challenges can be overcome with good communication. However, if these teams go further to forge a strong partnership, it can shift organizational performance.
Learning Objectives: Participants in this workshop will: (1) Learn where the most common difficulties arise between finance and development teams; (2) Discover the impact of various donor communications on accounting requirements; (3) Leave with notes on how to establish effective communication between teams; and (4) Gain insights into areas where inter-team partnership can increase fundraising performance.
