This event gathers together the network leaders from diverse missions communities. The goal is to discuss what we might do to better mobilize diverse communities for the Great Commission, share experiences, struggles and breakthroughs, and suggest steps forward. This event, co-sponsored by NAAMC and Missio Nexus, is by invite only. We hope you will plan to join us.
Session Information
Wednesday | 1pm | Session 1 | Welcome Kick-Off: Listening & Learning Together
This opening session will challenge participants to listen compassionately and competently to the cultural context of brothers and sisters from other ethnicities. Participants will then enter a time of discovery to learn what does disciple making, church planting, and cross-cultural engagement look like in other contexts outside of their own.
Facilitators: Adrian Reeves, NAAMC & Dino Butler, Broken Arrow Bible Ranch
Wednesday | 7pm | Session 2 | Lamenting Together
This session is designed to illustrate the discipline of lamenting and its effective impact in creating new history from conflict and fostering reconciliation for Kingdom Communities.
Facilitators: Sophia Wang, SEND International & Don Allsman, Completion Global
Thursday | 9am | Session 3 | Leading Together
The purpose of this session is to challenge participants to examine what structural and strategic changes are necessary for multicultural and multiethnic missions’ engagement to become a reality. What do we need to learn, un-learn, and re-learn again?
Facilitators: Moses Salvidar, Frontiers & Brian Heerwagon, MissionWorks
Thursday | 11am | Session 4 | Launching Together
This purpose of this session is to share stories of multiethnic collaboration can we draw from throughout missions’ history and what practical possibilities are at hand presently for multiethnic engagement. How do we see the opportunities before us?
