Accelerating Bible Translation
Position Summary: The Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining digital content to advance Church Owned Bible Translation (COBT) and Train the Trainer (T3) Programs using Wycliffe Associates’ translation strategy, methodology, and tools.
Additional Information: Travel is optional, with all expenses paid. WA laptop is provided. This position is part-time and is work from home.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build engaging content for department and partner social media platforms
- Work collaboratively with the Intercultural Engagement Directors to provide promo materials, landing pages, and targeted social media postings for T3 vision casting events.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Strategic Advancement to develop creative digital campaigns to discover and attract new partners.
- Ensure that the content across all platforms aligns with WA’s Statement of Faith and compliments the WA website.
- Represent WA at selected events.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
- Plan and report on the metrics that drive performance and yearly goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Prior Work Experience, and/or Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
- Digital marketing and social media marketing skills.
- Content creation skills with attention to detail.
- Skills in maintaining content consistency.
- Advanced skills and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to track progress and adjust course toward goals.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms.
- Ability to work independently and as a team to accomplish goals.
- Self-motivated, able to multitask, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

- Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Senses a call from God to ministry, with a genuine caring for people as a spiritual leader.
- Has the ability to be at ease with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Has a healthy level of self-confidence.
