Engineering Manager TWR Africa Role Summary
Assist in the operational excellence and sustainability of radio broadcasting assets. Included in this role are areas such as risk management, incident management, remote monitoring, maintenance controls, asset information management, quality management and continuous improvement.

Able to handle occasional irregular work hours
Responsibilities
Supervise maintenance and reliability improvements and practices for TWR assets
Implement TWR’s engineering documents standards to manage information as official corporate records
Implement TWR’s asset criticality ranking processes, resulting in an understanding of an asset’s mission critical value
Implement TWR’s incident response methodology
Understudy site Radio Transmission Engineer and site Chief Engineer with a view to assuming a support role of selected broadcast services
Train others on asset failure causes which lead to service disruptions
Desirable Qualifications
Must have technology asset lifecycle or engineering management experience
A background in radio broadcast technology is preferred. However, applicants with engineering or management experience in electronic systems, technology projects or quality assurance are welcome
Proficiency in the latest technology and software (like Microsoft Office)
Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently
Travel through Africa will be required. The preferred site of employment will be in southern Africa with the exact location to be decided.
