JOB SUMMARY
The Global Disciples Alliance is the team responsible for all international training programs. The Alliance Salesforce Specialist is responsible to provide a high level of oversight and direction on the Alliance Salesforce Database, including:
- Analyzing data
- Maintaining and improving database functionality
- Improving and maintaining processes of data collection and entry
- Producing reports on Alliance activities
- Providing Salesforce support and training for new and existing international Data Managers
GOAL
This job ensures the highest quality of Alliance data, so that the data can be used effectively for reporting and strategic planning within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Analyze Alliance data in Salesforce.
- Regularly create, update, and audit Salesforce reports to ensure clarity and functionality.
- Regularly and proactively audit Salesforce data to ensure integrity and completeness.
- Remove invalid or duplicate records in Salesforce.
- Work independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and improve data quality.
2. Maintain and improve Salesforce database functionality.
- Import all campaigns at the start of the fiscal year (training programs, AEEs, & staff training sessions); support staff member who is annually inputting prayer-specific trainings.
- Prepare all dashboards, reports, and statistics for international training programs, such as the Alliance statistics report, Directors Trainings (DTs), Annual Equipping Events (AEEs) attendance, Touchpoints, and other items as requested.
- With approval from IT, make updates and changes to fields, user interface, and automation, as needed. (All changes and reasoning will be documented in the Salesforce change log.)
- Work independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and improve Salesforce functionality.
3. Improve and maintain processes of data collection and entry.
- Follow up with international staff to ensure data, files, and other training records are submitted and entered in a timely manner during and after key training events.
- Ensure automated emails regarding data are sent correctly through Salesforce.
- Provide feedback for improving Alliance processes and forms used for data collection.
4. Produce reports on Alliance activities.
- Attend Alliance Team and Specialist Council meetings, being prepared to report on and discuss data.
- Regularly respond to requests by staff members for reports and clarification on Alliance data.
- Compile a comprehensive set of Alliance data to be used for the Annual Report.
5. Provide Salesforce support and training for new and existing international Data Managers.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to international Data Managers, providing technical support and training.
- Coach international Data Managers to audit Salesforce data and ensure data integrity and completeness.
- Plan and lead monthly meetings with international Data Managers.
- Provide one-on-one support for international Data Managers.
- Annually update the Alliance Salesforce Guide that is used by international Data Managers.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead training for international Data Managers.
6. Other duties as assigned by the Alliance Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of a Christian Church.
- Passion for the mission and work of Global Disciples and alignment with its statement of faith, goals, purposes, and objectives.
- Organized, with close attention to detail, able to identify errors in patterns and data. Previous experience auditing data required.
- Positive outlook toward change and inclination toward adaptability.
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to relate interculturally with team members and potential partners; interpersonal skills are important.
- Highly skilled in typing, writing, punctuation, and oral communication skills.
- 2-3 years of Salesforce experience required, with proven experience in Lightning page design, building flows. Salesforce certification preferred; Salesforce Administrator certification required within 90 days of hire and an additional advanced Salesforce certification within 1 year.
Note: International travel required for this position.
