Dr. M began following Jesus when he was 17 years of age, coming to faith in Jesus from within the Jewish community; he continues to identify as a Messianic Jewish follower of Jesus. His heritage gives him a unique perspective sharing his faith with Muslims.
He served in South Asia for almost 20 years, focusing on Muslim people who speak the beautiful Bengali language. He completed a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Seminary in 2013, focused on creating a model for outreach, discipleship, and community-formation in the context of Islamic mysticism. He currently teaches at a Canadian University and online for a Seminary.
