Our Speakers
Anjelina Maldonado serves as the Training & Sending Associate Director for Jesus Film Project (JFP), a ministry of Cru, where she helps equip and mobilize the Body of Christ for evangelism and discipleship. She has been with Cru/JFP for 18 years. She also serves in a diverse and collaborative group within Cru where she recently has worked on Intercultural Learning and reaching the Diaspora. Native to Phoenix, Arizona, Anjelina has a love for Mexican food, breathtaking sunsets, and cherished moments with her beloved “Familia.” She is married to her husband for 20 years and has three incredible children ages 15, 12, and 9.
In 2015, the Maldonado’s founded and since then, have been pastoring Proximity Church in the heart of Orlando, where they are devoted to creating a welcoming space for discovering love, community, and purpose.
Ted Esler is the President of Missio Nexus, an association of agencies and churches representing hundreds of mission agencies and churches. Ted worked in the computer industry before serving in the Balkans during the 1990’s. In 2000, Ted became the Canadian director of Pioneers and three years later moved to Orlando to join Pioneers USA’s leadership team. He was appointed the President of Missio Nexus in 2015. His most recent book is The Innovation Crisis, Creating Disruptive Influence in the Ministry you Lead. Ted has a PhD in Intercultural Studies (Fuller Theological Seminary, 2012). Ted, and his wife Annette, have 5 adult children and 3 grandchildren. They reside in St. Cloud, FL.
