The Facilitator
Dave Guiles has served since 1987 with Encompass World Partners (formerly Grace Brethren International Missions). He and his wife were deployed to Buenos Aires as church planters in 1998, where Dave also served as Argentina Field Leader and Coordinator for Latin American Ministries. In 2000, the Guiles returned to the USA so he could become the agency’s Executive Director. Dave was one of the original participants when the annual Denominational Roundtable was first launched by Paul McKaughan in 2004.
Dave has an MDiv degree from Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN) and an DMin from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Chicago, IL). He is the author of three books on mobilization and missions: Discovering Global Missions, Mobilizing the Mobilizers, and Press On! What the Missionary Journeys of James Gribble teach us about prayer, perseverance, and the ultimate prize. His current projects include studies on interdependence (how should local churches related to one another?) and on race issues in his denomination.
