Summary
Keith Anderson, president of The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, declares the purpose of this book is “to stir in us all a longing to listen for the voice of God in everything.” (p. 100). He states that spirituality is grounded in ordinary life experiences, and that we need to learn to listen to rhythms of life, narratives and creation itself. We must learn to hear God as we go through our lives. Simply put, we need to learn to listen. Listening to God takes time and practice. Anderson offers reflective exercises at the end of each chapter to help one do so.
