Friday, 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
Presented by: Ron Nelson
Evangelism is crucial and the right perspective, training, and attitude can make a huge difference in how an individual on short-term mission approaches evangelistic opportunities cross-culturally. Many believers called to serve cross-culturally, and more specifically, those who venture on short-term mission, find evangelism to be the weakest part of their experience. Many times, they’re not prepared and equipped to communicate the Gospel with confidence, boldness, and compassion for the culture. This workshop is tailored to challenge, train, and equip workshop participants on how to communicate the Gospel in ways that do not make people feel like they need to join a new culture to hear and understand the message. Emphasis will be placed on practical application and CONTEXTUALIZATION.
Primary Audience: Leaders, laypersons, missionaries, zealous short-term missions “goers”
