Saturday, 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM
Presented by: Matthew Ellison
Today, in many churches, missions has been separated and even divorced from discipleship. We have missions programs and departments, which are not necessarily bad things to have, but they often relegate the Great Commission to the missions-minded few. Missions isn’t an addendum (something that’s optional) to be stapled onto normal Christianity – it should be at the heart of our faith, practice and identity as disciples – because it’s at the heart of God Himself. In this workshop we’ll not only explore why missions must be integrated into our identity as His followers, we’ll also discuss practical steps to help make it happen.
Primary Audience: Church and mission leaders
