Don Johnson
Assistant US Director | SEND International
Don Johnson has a BA and MA in Bible from Columbia Int’l University and an MBA from Liberty University. He’s been a missionary with SEND Int’l since 1987; serving first at a missionary radio station in Alaska and then as the liaison officer for Far East Russia where he hosted many short-term teams. That led to 10 years as assistant director and then director of SEND’s STM department. He continues to serve the work of short-term mission as the board chair for the Standards of Excellence in Short-term Mission. Don presents training on mission issues in a wide variety of venues both on and off the SEND campus, as well as speaking, writing, recruiting, researching trends in missions, and consulting with churches and other mission agencies. |
