Thank you very much for changing my life. Your show and your message are amazing and very important. (Last year) I came to God and made a decision to serve Him for the rest of my life. It’s the best gift in my life. Thank you very much! —Mary from Velikie Luki, Russia

“No Longer Music” (NLM) is an international theatrical rock group called, led by David Pierce, that uses the stage to communicate the Gospel of Jesus in nightclubs, city squares, and festivals, to young people who would never step foot into a church.

Last year, NLM performed over 100 concerts throughout the world, including a series of outdoor evangelistic concerts in Russia. Despite tensions between Russia and the west, we were amazed to find how open and receptive the young people of Russia were to us and more importantly, the Gospel message.

Thousands attended the concerts and hundreds responded to the invitation to receive Jesus. It was incredible to see their hunger for the Truth.

After our concerts, we worked with local church partners to start #6pmbible, which are informal bible studies held in neutral venues designed to help those who responded at the concerts grow in their relationship with Jesus and become connected to a local church.

This month, we returned to Russia to perform another series of evangelistic concerts. We also had the privilege of participating in the baptisms of several young people who gave their lives to Jesus at the concert the year before and had gone through the #6pm course.

There is nothing better than seeing the long-term fruit of the Gospel!

Steiger International

No Longer Music is a ministry of a worldwide mission organization called Steiger International (www.steiger.org), which is called to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture for Jesus.

Steiger trains missionaries to share the message of Jesus in the language of the Global Youth Culture and establishes long-term presence in urban centers through ongoing outreach, discipleship, and local church partnership.

The Global Youth Culture found in urban centers in every country and continent, represents one of the largest unreached people groups in the world: over 1 billion souls.

This generation is connected by the web and global entertainment industry. They share fashion, values, and symbols that form a globalized culture. Young people in Amsterdam are watching the same movies, listening to the same music and playing the same video games as those in Beirut, Sao Paulo or New York.

They are largely influenced by one predominant worldview: Secular Humanism — God is irrelevant, and man is at the center. In this relativistic culture, we are god and consumerism is our religion. This is a generation that does not look to the church for answers but believes it to be a dead and empty tradition of the past. Either there is no God or, if he is there, he doesn’t interfere with our lives.

God’s heart is broken for this lost generation.

Steiger’s vision is to lift up the Cross outside the church and see the message of a loving God, revealed in Jesus, infused in this globalized culture. We desire to see this generation find hope and purpose again as it meets the Creator.
