Radio (RF) Broadcast Engineer or Technician Missionary – Role Summary
Oversee radio broadcasts through installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all equipment related to the broadcasts (including studios, RF and AF). Design and implement equipment modifications and improvements and train others to do the same.

Responsibilities:
Supervise site technicians in installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing all equipment related to broadcast (towers, rigging equipment, tuning equipment, transmitters, audio processing, computers, remote control, computer networks, generators, studio equipment, and other broadcast equipment)
Maintain oversight of stock of spare parts, apply scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault isolation, troubleshooting, repairs, and applying creative approaches when normal solutions are not possible or practical
Assist TWR’s partner offices in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment related to broadcasting, training their personnel and providing consulting advice
Evaluate broadcast systems of the transmitting station, TWR national offices and TWR partners in the region and make suggestions for changes, modifications and improvements
Desirable Qualifications:
Four-year degree in electrical/computer engineering or a two-year degree in electronics or equivalent work experience
Minimum five years’ experience in a broadcasting environment
Proficiency in spoken and written English and intermediate French (Benin site)
Ability/willingness to travel occasionally
