The Interns Coordinator provides strategic leadership and hands-on oversight for the JAARS Intern Program, ensuring a high-impact experience for both interns and the organization. This role manages all aspects of program administration, collaborates with HR to identify and select top candidates, cultivates and equips a team of coaches and mentors, and fosters meaningful relationships that support intern growth, engagement, and long-term mission alignment.

JAARS Interns is a 10-week opportunity that develops transferable professional skills, cultivates well-rounded growth, and unleashes the world of missions. Interns join JAARS staff in completing significant projects that reduce barriers, ease burdens, and deliver God’s Word.
Position Responsibilities
- Design and manage key components of the Intern Program by maintaining the annual calendar, integrating intern feedback, and aligning offerings with organizational goals.
- Drive program growth by initiating cross-departmental collaboration, building strategic partnerships with universities, and exploring new internship opportunities.
- Coordinate logistics for intern events, course registrations, and communications, ensuring smooth execution and professional engagement.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all intern and applicant communication, providing timely support and guidance throughout the internship journey.
- Organize and maintain accurate records, promotional materials, and onboarding resources using cloud-based systems.
- Recruit, train, and support Intern Project Coordinators and Coaches, ensuring effective mentorship and accountability.
- Partner with HR to screen applicants and facilitate the hiring process for qualified interns.

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.

- Ability to organize, direct, and prioritize work, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, as well as function effectively as a team with a diverse group of people.
