Global Fellowship

Job Title: Church Networker

Reports To: Director of Development

Collaborates With: STM Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, Director of Mobilization, Event Planner and Prayer Coordinators

Global Fellowship is a Church-planting organization with a passion for Christ and making disciples in unreached areas of the world. Global Fellowship needs a Church Networker who will join our team and expand our network of supporters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a chance to change people’s lives and inspire others to do so.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a creative person who can develop and maintain relationships with partners and new churches to create a harmonious partnership and mutual support. As a Church Networker, you will develop strategies to effectively reach the American Church with the mission and vision of Global Fellowship. Your success will strengthen the fundraising capacity of Global fellowship to support the indigenous church-planters financially.

Throughout your journey to achieve our goals, you will be responsible for:

Representing the Global Fellowship vision and working to make a genuine relationship with key leaders of different churches as well as with major donors.
Developing strategies that will enable partner churches to increase their international mission’s impact.
Assist and support indiginous church-planters in fundraising meetings with churches and other potential supporters.
Working as a spokesperson of Global Fellowship and effectively communicating our vision and work to those outside the organization.
Collaborating with the Director of Development and Co-Executive Directors to understand the needs of specific missionaries and projects.
Standing as a relational bridge between indigenous missionaries and US Churches and ensuring good partnership and life-giving relationships.
Acting as the first point of contact dealing with churches that have never heard of Global Fellowship and building a fruitful relationship that will increase support for our indigenous missionaries.
Participating in project task forces as needed and traveling with partner churches on short-term mission trips to visit GF partners.
Helping the churches with preaching/teaching materials.
Raise personal support.

What we’re looking for from you:

As a Church Networker for Global Fellowship, you need to be excellent in networking as well as building relationships with US churches. You are a kindhearted individual capable of providing opportunities for American churches to support indigenous church-planters as well as preaching and teaching the mission of God. A strength will need to be your ability to cast a compelling vision about God’s work internationally and how US churches can have meaningful engagement in it. An attitude to listen well before talking, along with the ability to relate well to others will earn your trust as you share with pastors and mission leaders.

Requirements:

2+ years of church-related experience.
Wide range of experience as a missionary.
Networking and relationship building skills with the ability to preach and teach the word of God.
Skilled in cross-cultural communication, fundraising and selling in a professional environment.

A little about you:

Able to work in the office from 9:00 am to 5:00, Monday to Friday
Empathetic and perceptive – you’re able to see things from others’ perspectives.
Available for international travel
Available during non-office hours to call members with various time zones
Quick to listen, slow to speak.
Wise and mature in faith
Dependable and able to follow a consistent routine
