EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT – FIELD MINISTRIES

The EVP of Field Ministries, in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, will lead the vision, strategy, and goals of all mission-wide field ministries including the oversight of the health, resources, and development of all field employees and work. As a seasoned executive leader, they will create, enhance, strategize, and implement new ministries as well as evaluate and align all ministry objectives and goals.

Reports to: President/CEO

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and provide leadership for vision, strategy, talent management, and culture for Field Ministries
• Assist in raising General Fund/Project support
• Empower and align the formulation and implementation of vision and strategy for Field Ministries projects
• Recruit, build, manage, and empower the Field Ministries structure to carry out established strategies
• Oversee the development of Field Ministries annual plans and budgets
• Provide leadership to various Field Ministries meetings and the annual Ministry Leaders conference
• Oversee and maintain Field Ministries policies
• Make three to four strategic trips to specific overseas ministry locations each year
• Raise and maintain personal support

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 plus years in significant leadership roles
• 5-10 years of cross-cultural/international experience and/or has lived and served outside the US as a missionary for a minimum of five years, preferred
• A minimum of two years working in a similar role
• A minimum of two years of ministry/nonprofit experience required
• Seminary degree preferred
• Trained in cross-cultural ministry
• Trained biblically and theologically to provide wise guidance to those ministering overseas
• Demonstrates a healthy, growing spiritual life, with a servant attitude for leadership responsibilities
• Strong, stable leadership presence and the ability to lead well through calm and stressful situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to represent East-West well internally and externally
