Impact Ministries, a Christian non-profit dedicated to transforming lives through Christ-centered education in Guatemala, is seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer. This role provides strategic leadership and management oversight for our North American operations (Canada and USA), ensuring we remain true to our mission while fostering strong relationships with donors, partners, and staff.

Our mission is: “To train Guatemalans for leadership by teaching biblical principles in such a way that they become integrated in their lives and effect spiritual change in their society, and to impact North American Christians for world missions.”

Currently, Impact Ministries operates multiple schools in underserved communities across Guatemala, providing not only education but also essential medical care, nutrition, and spiritual guidance to children and their families. This vital work is sustained primarily through generous donations from Canada and the United States. Beyond our work in Guatemala, we also host numerous short-term mission teams and offer service and discipleship opportunities.

We are actively seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and management oversight for our North American operations (Canada and USA). This crucial role will ensure that we remain steadfast in our mission of providing Christ-centered education, while simultaneously fostering strong relationships with our dedicated donors, partners, and staff across multiple countries. The CEO will report to the Boards of Directors, ensuring financial sustainability and spiritual grounding, and will serve as the essential bridge between our Guatemalan leadership and our North American staff and supporters. This leader will drive fundraising initiatives, oversee financial health, and guide program development. We are looking for a passionate individual deeply committed to Christian ministry, education, and cross-cultural missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership, articulating Impact Ministries’ mission and biblical basis for missions.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for growth and sustainability.
• Lead comprehensive fundraising efforts and cultivate donor relationships in North America.
• Ensure financial accountability and manage budgets for Canadian and US operations.
• Partner with the Board of Directors for effective governance.
• Lead and develop senior management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and spiritual integrity.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of educational and ministry programs in Guatemala.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Missiology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in international cross-cultural ministry and senior management is an asset.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency highly desirable.
• A maturing disciple of Jesus Christ with a deep personal faith and alignment with Impact Ministries’ mission and values.
• Connected to and accountable to a local church.
