SUMMARY:The Mobilized Church Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Mobilized Church (TMC) Workshop is a two-day\, highly interactive experience designed to help churches move from good intentions to clear\, practical action in global missions. Rooted in Acts 13–14 and the sending church at Antioch\, TMC helps pastors and church leaders recover a biblically grounded vision for missions that is integrated with discipleship\, leadership\, and the life of the local church. \nOver two days\, participants are guided through a structured process that helps them assess their church’s current missions reality\, surface blind spots\, and clarify realistic next steps. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model\, TMC equips leaders with seven biblically grounded keys that cultivate a healthy missions culture\, alongside diagnostic tools and guided discussions that translate conviction into practice. \nThis workshop is designed for pastors\, missions pastors\, and church leadership teams who want to strengthen their church’s global engagement in a way that is theologically clear\, strategically grounded\, and sustainable over time. Churches are strongly encouraged to attend with multiple leaders so they can process\, plan\, and build together. \nFor further registration details\, click here. \nFor registration questions\, email rachelvanegas@1615.org.

SUMMARY:Discipling Young People in Your Church to Become Disciple Makers of the Nations
DESCRIPTION:Carlos Negrón of Missio Nexus and Matthew Ellison of 16:15 will be joined by special guests Nicole Parks of Cafe 1040 and Julius Tennal of Summit Church in North Carolina for an important conversation on Discipling Young People in Your Church to Become Disciple Makers of the Nations. \nAcross the country\, churches are asking how to help the next generation develop a heart for the nations. Many young people are open\, eager\, and searching for purpose\, but they are often discipled more by culture than by the global mission of God. At the same time\, churches struggle to know how to shape students and young adults into followers of Jesus who understand His heart for all peoples and are ready to join His work locally and globally. \nHow do we move beyond events\, trips\, and occasional teaching toward a pattern of discipleship that forms young believers with a passion for Christ and a vision for the unreached? What does it look like to help them hear God’s voice\, cultivate spiritual depth\, develop resilience\, and understand the responsibility and privilege of making disciples among all nations? And how can leaders walk with young people so they grow from curiosity to conviction to long-term commitment? \nIn this conversation\, we will explore practical ways churches can disciple the next generation toward global engagement. We will look at rhythms\, relationships\, and environments that shape young hearts to care about what God cares about and to see themselves as active participants in His mission. You will walk away with tools that help your church invest in young people with purpose and intentionality for the sake of the nations. \nPresenters: \n\n\n\n\n Nicole Parks – Nicole is a passionate advocate for the unreached and a lover of the word of God. She loves teaching and writing about God’s big story and His global purposes. She has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Masters in Global Studies. She is an active Perspectives instructor\, sought-after Bible teacher\, and a published author. She has worked with Cafe 1040 since 2015 and is now serving as the Vice President of Mobilization and Strategic Partnerships. Her love of travel and Jesus has brought her to over 30 different countries and counting. But her favorite role of all is full-time wife and mom to three children. \n  \n \nJulius Tennal – Julius has been married to his high school sweetheart\, Brittany\, for (12) years and they have three energetic sons: Azariah (6)\, Josiah (3)\, and Zechariah (2). Julius has served in vocational ministry for (13) years\, including 3 years as a missionary in South Africa. He has an M.Div in Missiology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as Pastor of International Missions with the Summit Church in North Carolina.\n\n\n\n

Committed to the flourishing of cross-cultural workers\, Kimberly integrates research and lived experience to advocate for evidence-informed approaches to care and development. She seeks to inspire meaningful conversation and equip practitioners\, organizational leaders\, and workers themselves with tools that support thriving in the midst of service and finishing well. \nVern Salter: I bring over 36 years of experience as a vocational Christian worker\, serving both in the U.S. and overseas. Having personally received care during seasons of crisis\, I deeply value both the “below the waterline” work of counseling and the “at the waterline” practices of soul care\, relational reconciliation\, and cultivating healthy rhythms in ministry. With an MA in Clinical Counseling from Colorado Christian University\, I integrate pastoral insight with professional training to support the holistic well-being of cross-cultural workers. As Director of Care at MTI\, I work to ensure that agency partners and their staff are equipped to thrive through a well-resourced\, collaborative approach to care and development\, while also supporting the MTI team. SUMMARY:The 8 Things Healthy Missions Agencies Do Consistently
DESCRIPTION:Every missions agency and nonprofit already has an operating system. Participants will learn how that operating system is formed through decisions\, alignment\, and day-to-day execution\, and why most systems become accidental rather than intentional over time. \nThe virtual event will walk through the eight core components behind the Impact Operating System\, drawn from the framework introduced in Built for Impact. Participants will learn how to recognize where their agency is strong\, where friction is emerging\, and which components need attention now. The focus is not on fixing everything\, but on identifying the right few areas to strengthen in order to unlock clarity\, health\, and momentum. \nParticipants will learn how to:\n– Understand the eight core components that shape how a missions agency actually operates\n– Identify under-built components that are limiting clarity\, health\, and momentum\n– Clarify a focused next step for strengthening organizational effectiveness without adding complexity \n \nPresenters: \nDoug Paul – As a thought leader and best-selling author who has spent 20+ years helping nonprofits navigate transformative growth\, Doug is one of the managing parterns at Catapult. His experience spans nonprofit leadership\, innovation\, and adaptive planning\, with a focus on keeping organizations resilient and driving towards their real-life vision in an ever-changing landscape. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAndy Graham – Originally from Northern Ireland\, he serves as one of the Principals and Lead Strategists at Catapult\, where he helped shape the Impact Operating System. He specializes in navigating strategic pivots and helping Executive Teams create alignment between mission and execution. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nMissio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics. SUMMARY:How to Build a Metrics Dashboard for a Missions Agency
DESCRIPTION:Summary:\nMost missions agencies track a lot of numbers but still lack clarity on whether they’re counting the right things. Are these numbers helping them make decisions? This workshop shows how to build a simple Impact Dashboard that connects metrics to real gospel outcomes. \nSynopsis:\nMany missions agencies feel tension around metrics. Stories are compelling but anecdotal\, activity is high\, but leaders still struggle to see whether the outcomes they hope for are really happening. Without a clear dashboard\, decisions become reactive and churches\, Foundations and donors are left guessing.\nThis workshop introduces a practical approach to building an Impact Dashboard designed for missions agencies. Participants will learn how to create a Dashboard that mirrors what we’ve learned from healthy agencies who have created a 360-degree view of their impact\, connecting daily activity to long-term results. Participants will learn how to identify a small set of vital metrics that guide better decisions and surface issues early. \nLearning Objectives:\nLearn why most missions dashboards fail and how to design one that drives clarity\nIdentify missional\, operational\, and cultural metrics that matter for missions agencies\nApply Lead and Lag Measures to connect field activity to real outcomes\nLeave with a clear framework for building or refining an Impact Dashboard \nPresenters: \nCHRIS CURTIS\nDirector of Coaching and Training\nChris lives with his family in Greenville\, SC. Through his years of experience in education\, ministry\, international leadership development and coaching\, Chris has developed a keen interest in helping leaders become healthy so they can lead healthy organizations. \n  \n  \n  \nTODD MILBY\nManaging Partner\, Catapult\nTodd Milby lives in Greenville\, SC and is a Managing Partner of Catapult. Todd founded Catapult in 2015. He has helped catalyze vision and align strategy for hundreds of organizations. He specializes in identifying organizational gaps\, creating tailored solutions and calling leaders up to their full potential. \n  \n  \n  \nMissio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics. SUMMARY:2026 Mission Agency Consultation (MAC)
DESCRIPTION:Are you part of a missions organization that desires to meaningfully and effectively engage in partnerships with local churches? If so\, consider joining us in Charlotte this summer for the Mission Agency Consultation! \nThere is a widespread missions paradigm shift occurring in the Church that is marked by a groundswell of local churches desiring a more active role in fulfilling the Great Commission than they have in the past. Growing numbers of local churches no longer perceive missions simply as sending individuals and finances to mission organizations\, they long to do missions in a way that is focused\, that has a lasting impact\, and which bears their unique fingerprints. They are often no longer content merely to serve in support roles from a distance\, instead they desire opportunities for active engagement. While this paradigm shift represents a positive change\, it presents challenges to many mission organizations that have yet to address these new local church expectations. \nNow is a strategic time to pause and enter into this conversation within your own organization and with others. \nThe MAC is a two-day\, highly interactive workshop with dynamic teaching and sessions that will help you and your organization develop deeper and more strategic partnerships with the local church. \nWe’ll help you and your team consider questions like:\n• How do churches perceive our organization?\n• How does our organization perceive churches?\n• Are we doing missions/mobilization “for” churches or “with” churches? And does it matter?\n• Are we cultivating a pro-church culture?\n• Is it possible to connect what we do best to what churches do best?\n• Does our organization really know the Church in North America?\n• Sessions are interactive and built for you and your team to have time to process the information and apply to your current realities. \nLearn from other organizations from across the country during open discussion and plenty of networking time. \nUse code MISSIO26 for 10% off! \nFor more information and to register click here.
