A meeting presented by the Ethnic Inclusion Network Community of Practice
Much of the struggle to mobilize second-generation immigrants (and others of mixed cultural heritage) stems from the struggle to disciple them as youth. In this community of practice session we will discuss ways to make Christ, the Bible, the church, and the Great Commission relevant to young people experiencing cultural in-betweenness.
Presenter: For several years, John Yoder was one of the pastors of the highly multicultural Beijing International Christian Fellowship. As founder and Director of Immigrant Ministry Connections, John formed a team that has developed The Hyphenated Community, an online platform providing weekly video and text-based discipleship resources designed by and for second-generation immigrants.
