EMQ Honored with Two Awards at the 2025 Evangelical Press Association Conference

Mission Nexus is proud to announce that Evangelical Missions Quarterly (EMQ) has once again been recognized for excellence in Christian journalism at the 2025 Evangelical Press Association (EPA) Awards. EMQ received two prestigious accolades in the Higher Goals Awards, which celebrate outstanding work in individual categories across EPA member publications.

Award Highlights:

Fourth Place – First-Person Article

Image Bearers of God’s Love Unite!” by Jenna Sanderson was honored for its powerful and deeply personal narrative. The article highlights the lived experience of a young woman with Cerebral Palsy and her call for greater inclusion of people with disabilities in God’s global mission. Judges praised the piece as “a beautiful story of faith and God’s love for all people,” noting its thoroughness, emotional resonance, and expert integration.

Fifth Place – Cover Design

The July–September 2024 issue of EMQ, themed “Diversity & Mutuality: Working Together to Share the Good News,” received recognition for its compelling visual presentation. Designed by Kurtis Amundson, the cover was commended for its mosaic-style illustration, muted yet expressive color palette, and thoughtful typography. Judges noted that the design effectively conveyed the theme of unity in diversity.

These awards reflect EMQ’s ongoing commitment to elevating voices from across the global Church and addressing critical issues in missions with creativity, clarity, and conviction.
