Summary

This book seeks “to help Christian leaders learn to see, love, reach, and ultimately be the New Samaria” (page 11). By “New Samaria,” the author refers to the “Samaritans among us… people who are near but different” (page 10), like the immigrants and those who have been marginalized, ignored, and treated unjustly. The author proposes to embrace the New Samaria through what he calls the GC3: the Great Commission (spreading the good news to the ends of the earth) and the Great Commandment (loving your neighbor as yourself) and to build the Great Community (transformation of the community of believers and their influence in the communities).
