Job Classification: Part-time, Non-exempt
Reports to: Executive Director
Hours: 20 hours per week on average
Location: Houston, TX area

Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director and advancing the mission of Frontier Fellowship. This position serves as the primary liaison between the Executive Director and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion. They will demonstrate a deep commitment to Frontier Fellowship’s vision of establishing indigenous churches and fostering mission-minded congregations worldwide.

Duties/Responsibilities:
-Administrative Support: Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, process expense reports, schedule meetings, and ensure efficient time management. Help with handling correspondence, prepare meeting agendas, and maintain organized records.
-Communication Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between the Executive Director and other staff, Board members, stakeholders, and external parties. Ensure clear and effective communication of the Executive Director’s directives and vision.
-Project Management and Coordination: Assist in overseeing projects and initiatives, coordinating with various departments and external partners to ensure alignment with Frontier Fellowship’s goals on behalf of the Executive Director.
-Strategic Support: Participate in strategic planning and provide input on initiatives that align with Frontier Fellowship’s mission. Assist in the analysis and presentation of data to support decision-making.
-Fundraising and Donor Relations: Support fundraising efforts. Help ensure proper coordination between the Development team and the Executive Director.
-Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality, maintaining trust and integrity of the Executive Director.
-Public Relations and Advocacy: Assist in preparing the Executive Director for public appearances, speeches, and advocacy work related to advancing the mission and vision of Frontier Fellowship.
-Special projects and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications + Expectations:
Required Qualifications:
·       Excellent organizational and administrative skills
·       Strong written and verbal communication abilities
·       Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workplace)
·       Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s Degree
·       Experience in non-profit or ministry field
·       Global missions administrative experience
·       Familiarity with donor management software (e.g., eTapestry)
·       Experience supporting executive-level staff

Work Environment:
This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.  The ability to maintain a professional home office environment is essential.

Compensation + Benefits:
·       Pay $30/hour or commensurate with experience
·       Option to participate in the 403(b)-retirement plan
·       Monthly cell phone reimbursement
·       Reimbursement for work-related expenses
