A Church Mission Leader Peer2Peer Virtual Event

Without an intentional strategy to recruit and send missionaries to the nations, most churches might send a missionary every now and then. However, to see a steady stream of workers deploying to the ends of the earth requires a great deal of proactivity. In this Peer2Peer gathering you will hear from church mission leaders, who in partnership with a few like-minded missions agencies developed a proactive sending pipeline. If your church is ready to move from passively responding to requests for missionary support to actively recruiting and sending missionaries, this gathering is for you.

Presenters:

Jeremy Wynne was raised in Topeka, Kansas and is married to Paige Wynne. Paige and Jeremy have two kids. The oldest is their four year old son Judah and their youngest is their one year old daughter Lydia. They live in Topeka and love spending time with friends, family, watching sports or playing at Shawnee Lake. Jeremy has served as the Outreach and Discipleship Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church for the past seven years. He graduated with a BSN from the University of Kansas in 2013 and then received his MDIV from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2023. Through his role at the church, he has been able to partner with, develop leaders and make disciples from within the church, across the city and around the world. Jeremy desires to help mobilize the church to make disciples of Jesus Christ in Topeka and among the nations.

Will Cassidy is 27 years old and currently serves as the Mobilization Chair of Fellowship Bible Church’s (FBC) Global Outreach team. As Mobilization Chair, he has co-created the missionary pathway, a mobilization strategy and plan, and helped plan a support trip for one of FBC’s partners in the Philippines. Will graduated from the University of Kansas in 2019 with degrees in Management and Leadership and Economics. Upon graduation, he went on staff with a campus ministry, Student Mobilization, and served in Cebu City, Philippines. He was in the country for about 1.5 years and on staff for just over 2 years total. Will now works as a Consultant with Deloitte, where he has focused his time on leadership development and executive training while taking on pro-bono consulting opportunities with international non-profits Zakoura Foundation and Ongoza.
