Missio Nexus monitors the landscape in both the US and Canada for trends, shifts, and changes to our understanding of the Great Commission. We recognize the tendency for mission drift. What started as a great journey can end in a much different destination than what may have been intended. Thus, we are refocusing on the basics. Over the next three years, we are devoting our annual theme to the three immutable tasks of missions. These are evangelism, discipleship, and planting churches. While there are many diverse ways these are carried out they remain constant and ever present as we obey Jesus’ command to disciple the nations.
