th. We continue praying for Muslims over the 30 days of Ramadan. Today, let’s pray especially for Muslims observing Ramadan in the midst of conflict—Gaza is one example. Pray that Jesus would be revealed to Muslims through dreams and visions, and through the compassion and aid of believers. If you want to join in the larger Thirty Days of Prayer for the Muslim World initiative, prayer guides are here.

th. We pray for the believers laboring in the context of the Gaza war. The mix of politics, religion, and violence makes it hard for people to understand the conflict and how Jesus would respond. What felt like a calm some weeks ago is now unsettled and volatile. Pray for believers to have charity, wisdom, boldness, and endurance as they minister in this difficult environment. Pray for people to pray “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” over this region.

th. We pray for the many refugees flowing out of Sudan into surrounding nations. Nearly 9 million are displaced inside Sudan, and over 3.4 million have fled into neighboring countries—more than 400,000 in Chad, 250,000 in South Sudan, and over half a million in Egypt and Ethiopia. These countries were already hosting large refugee populations, and resources are stretched thin. Pray for the many workers trying to help them, and for provision, healing, and hope. We pray Psalm 126:5 over them: “Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.”

th. Pray for the many believers laboring in the Sahel. Several provinces within Mali, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Niger are under the dominance of Islamic fundamentalists. Communities have been cut off, and ministry in this area is exceptionally dangerous. Pray for God’s protection for those spreading the Good News to isolated communities. Pray that even those deeply committed to Islam will encounter Jesus through dreams and visions.

th. We continue to pray for a resolution to the conflict in Goma, where Rwanda and Burundi are backing opposing sides. The Protestant and Catholic churches are highly influential in DR Congo and have been working to mediate peace. Pray for wisdom and discernment for church and political leaders, and for “the hearts of kings” to be turned toward peace.

st. We pray for new openings in Saudi Arabia. Over the past year, efforts to open the country to tourism and business have created unexpected opportunities for the Gospel. These openings may not last long, so pray for boldness and wisdom in seizing them. Pray for the church in Saudi Arabia to grow and be established, and to boldly yet wisely reach out to those around them. Praise God for the faithful witness of migrant workers, which has planted seeds among Saudis for decades.

nd. Many North Korean contract workers have been sent to Russia as construction workers and to Ukraine as soldiers. Many previously worked in China, but China’s shift toward automation has reduced demand for laborers. Pray that believers will encounter and be a blessing to these workers in Russia, and that the Gospel will be carried back with them into North Korea. Pray for the isolation of North Korea to end, and for the Gospel to take root again in the “Jerusalem of the East.”
