2016 Mission CEO Survey: Traversing the Global Landscape

2016 Mission CEO Survey: Traversing the Global Landscape.

In 2013, Missio Nexus launched the Mission CEO Survey: Mapping Global Currents. This inaugural CEO survey was fielded among chief executives from more than 150 mission organizations, with representation from agencies large and small, denominationally affiliated and non-affiliated; sending, training and supporting agencies; Missio Nexus members and non-members. The survey indicated changes that executives were observing in their organizations in addition to anticipated challenges and opportunities over these past three years.

We seek to examine and consider carefully this new data in order to compare and contrast it with the 2013 data which will enable us to see where we have been, how far we have come and also help us to envision where we are heading.

The findings from this survey will be highlighted in September 2016 at the Mission Leaders Conference in Louisville, KY.  At a later date, a full report will be available as a stand-alone document and as part of the new Mission Handbook set to be published in 2017. In addition, for the first time we are also launching a companion study among Church Mission Leaders. Corresponding information will also be analyzed and integrated in the final reports.

Although time is a limited resource, your thoughts, as a mission leader will provide a great return as you process the results together with your board, leadership team, and other organizational leaders. Our combined partnership, we believe, will produce shared learning, opportunities for new ideas and innovation which will lead to collaborative action for the sake of the Kingdom.

Update: The 2016 Mission CEO Survey is now closed.  We are currently in the analysis and report presentation phase of the project.
